I don't have any advice for you, but I know what you mean. I feel like I am always saying, "Where did the day go?" The time seems to just slip away and the little free time I have is filled with chores. (And computer time, heh heh.) And that's particularly rough if you can't even leave him with anybody! I have a babysitter come for an hour or two so I can go to therapy or run errands, and it makes me feel much more human.
Yeah, "me time" for me is showering and folding laundry. I guess I do get a fair bit of computer time, but it's due to the fact that Sam still doesn't take long naps unless I'm lying nearby on the bed. (We're working on that.) Thank god for my iBook and wireless modem, is all I can say.
We hit a rough patch when Sam was three months old when he just wanted to be held constantly. No lying down on his own, which meant no shower for me unless my husband was home. No stroller. No Baby Trekker. No car seat. I was confined to only going out as far as I could comfortably carry him in my arms, and I almost went nuts. Relatively speaking, my absence of free time now seems like a cakewalk. :)

I love that picture, by the way!
