Oh my god, that's cute! What a great job! I want one! Er... "for Sam."
I'm a crafting freak, too. My big thing for a long time was quilting (by hand, no less). If you've got a couple of years to kill, making a queen-sized quilt is a great way to spend your time.
Lately I've been obsessed with dioramas, so I think I might have to make one soon.
Oh, hey, if you like penguins, have you seen The March of the Penguins yet? We just watched it a week or so ago. I sort of reviewed it here on my site.

Yes! Wow! I could recognize it immediately! But it kinda looks like it might fall apart - do you sew it?? If so, then how to you get it so fuzzy?? Techniques please?!
And I swear, home school moms are the most creative people on earth! Artists and musicians are like, way down on the list when you compare to adults who have to try to make 24/hr 18-year- parenting interesting and stimulating. Respect!!
