Blog from the other side

My friend Kirst (Rian's 'Oddmother) just sent me this blog by Jack the baby which is kinda funny...

And I'm doing a totally gratuitous posting of my favorite Rian pics - we've taken some dandies!

    I've always thought Rian looked so much like you, he has a certain softness to him that radiates from you as well - these pictures are fantastic!

    Awe, shucks!! I wasn't totally fishing for compliments! And I was worried I needed to write that to my knowledge he doesn't have a learning difficulty or deprived of oxygen at birth...

    I've been floored at how narcissistic having a baby really is - just look at the perfection I've created! Perfect nose like mine, perfect eye-shape like mine... He does have some of Pedro's finer features too - his blue-as-the-sky eyes, amazing smile, even wonderful earlobes... Obviously, I'm his mommy so I could go on and on!

    Those are fabulous pics, Kris. But I've always thought Rian is gorgeous. And I love the Che tee!

    I hear you on the latent narcissism. I don't think much of my own looks, but I think Sam -- who looks more like me, especially around the eyes, every month -- is utterly beautiful. Heh.
